The Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) is a blend of water-binding substances, primarily composed of sodium PCA (sodium salt of DL-2 Pyrrolidine-5-Carboxylic acid), Fructose, Glycine, Niacinamide, Urea, Inositol and sodium lactate. These components enhance the skin’s ability to retain moisture, improving elasticity and suppleness. Compared to other moisturizers such as sorbitol, propylene glycol, or glycerol, this NMF demonstrates superior water-binding capacity.
